JunHe welcomes new partner Mr. Evan Xian to their Guangzhou office where he practices in the fields of dispute resolution, bankruptcy and restructuring, and energy and infrastructure. Currently, he is transferring his personal profiles and going through other relevant formalities before joining JunHe.
Mr. Xian received his Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws at Sun Yat-sen University, followed by a Master of Laws at the College of William and Mary, Virginia, US. Prior to joining JunHe, he worked at a leading Chinese law firm and has experience at several renowned Hong Kong law firms. Mr. Xian is qualified to practice law in mainland China and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
Mr. Xian has over 18 years legal experience, including six years working in the judiciary system. His interdisciplinary academic background and practice experience at several international law firms have given him a global perspective in the fields of dispute resolution and bankruptcy and restructuring. Mr. Xian belongs to the “Thousands of Foreign-related Issue Lawyers” pool at the Ministry of Justice of the People’s Republic of China and is one of the leading foreign-related issue lawyers in Guangdong Province. He is an expert in advising on cross-border issues, from planning to implementation. Mr. Xian has represented many cases before the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, the Shenzhen International Arbitration Court and other Chinese and foreign arbitration institutions and has a distinctive understanding of the arbitration rules and proceedings of various arbitration institutions.
The addition of Mr. Xian to JunHe’s team will enhance the firm’s strength in the Greater Bay Area and further JunHe’s practice in cross-border dispute resolution, bankruptcy and restructuring issues.
