Kiran Sanghera Appointed as HKIAC’s New Deputy Secretary-General.
The Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (“HKIAC”) announces the appointment of Kiran Sanghera as Deputy Secretary-General, effective 20 January 2025.
Kiran has extensive experience in the field of international dispute resolution. She has spent over a decade in leadership roles at international institutions in Hong Kong and Sydney, including HKIAC, Harbour Litigation Funding, the Asian Domain Name Dispute Resolution Centre, and the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (ACICA). Kiran has developed a broad skill set through roles in casework, strategy planning, business development, and general management.
Kiran has been actively involved with the Hong Kong community through her roles at HKIAC, where she contributed to the Centre’s growth by overseeing business development initiatives and leading its domain name dispute resolution practice. She also engages with the international arbitration community and serves as Co-chair of the Institutions Taskforce of the Campaign for Greener Arbitrations.
Kiran is fluent in English, Spanish and French. She has been recognised by leading directories, including as a Future Leader by Lexology 2024.
