International law firm Bird & Bird have assisted ABN AMRO Sustainable Impact Fund with its recent investment into Think Better Group.
ABN AMRO Sustainable Impact Fund invests through direct equity investments in key transition sectors, contributing to accelerating the transition in the energy, circular and social impact pillars.
Think Better Group owns and operates leading consumer brands which focus on delivering a positive sustainable impact in high growth markets. The group works with specialised partners to address end-of-life solutions including, for instance, its coffee roaster business recycling coffee capsules and its wetsuit business offering innovative ways to up-cycle old rubber.
The Bird & Bird team was led by Benjamin Simon (Corporate, senior associate), alongside transaction partner Nick O’Donnell and relationship partner Graeme Payne, supported by Albert Mennen (Corporate, associate) and Anna Mikhalkovich (Corporate, associate).
