SyCipLaw is pleased to announce that Ramon I. Rocha IV has become a Partner of the Firm effective January 1, 2026.
Ramon I. Rocha IV specializes in civil and criminal litigation and commercial arbitration. He represents clients in both domestic and international arbitration, as well as in local court proceedings involving interim relief, enforcement, and confirmation proceedings in connection with arbitral awards. He has extensive experience in appearing before all levels of Philippine courts and in handling adversarial matters before administrative and quasi-judicial agencies, including the Energy Regulatory Commission, the Mines Adjudication Board, the Commission on Audit, and the Philippine Competition Commission. Ramon also handles corporate secretarial work and advises clients on general regulatory and compliance requirements. Ramon’s practice covers a wide range of industries including product liability, construction, infrastructure, and energy.
Ramon obtained his undergraduate degree in 2010 and Juris Doctor degree in 2015 from the University of the Philippines – Diliman. He joined SyCipLaw in January 2016 and was admitted to the Philippine Bar that year. He has co-authored articles and publications on enforcement of foreign judgments and the Anti-Money Laundering Act.
