Commercial law firm Hill Dickinson’s Private Equity team has advised global digital marketing agency Incubeta, a portfolio company of the Carlyle Group, on the acquisition of Shout Bravo, a Manchester-based digital PR agency. The move formalises a strong working partnership between the two companies developed over the last three years.
Incubeta, which employs a team of over 800 marketeers based across 20 offices in London and globally, will use its acquisition of Shout Bravo to boost the company’s total search capability by allowing it to deliver more powerful, integrated PPC and SEO strategies for clients.
Leading on the provision of legal advice to Incubeta was David Mkhitarian, partner and national head of Hill Dickinson’s Private Equity team, together with senior associate Graeme Anderson and associate Daniel McDonagh.
Speaking about the deal, David Mkhitarian said: “We were pleased to work as legal advisers to Incubeta on this deal to bring ambitious Manchester agency Shout Bravo into Incubeta’s global fold. Manchester is home to a vibrant and thriving digital sector and regularly tops polls as the UK’s leading digital and tech city. This acquisition is set to bring benefit to both parties, fuel further growth and ultimately benefit the company’s expanded client base.”
Andrew Turner, managing director, Incubeta, added: “We have formed a formidable partnership with Shout Bravo and are excited to more intensely incorporate content and outreach into our total search offering. We have ambitious plans together and look forward to bringing our search teams together that will also allow us to grow our team and workspace in Manchester”.
Shout Bravo is Incubeta’s second acquisition of 2024, following the acquisition of Persuasion Technologies in June.
