This year's awards have been expanded to 22 categories reflecting the growth of fintech across all areas of the financial services spectrum including Best Buy Now Pay Later Platform; Best FinTech Superannuation Service/Platform; Best Open Banking Solution; Young FinTech Leader of the Year; and Best Social Mission FinTech.
Ashurst will again be sponsoring the Ashurst FinTech Start-up of the Year Award. Past winners of this award are Beforepay (2020), NOD (2019), Trade Ledger (2018), Spaceship (2017) and MoneyMe (2016).
Applications for the Awards open on Thursday, 1 July and will close on Monday, 2 August, 2021. The 22 award categories can be found here.
The VIP speaker for the night will be NSW Liberal Senator Andrew Bragg. Senator Bragg is the Chair of the Select Committee on Australia as a Technology and Financial Centre. The Committee is currently examining Australia's financial technology policy.
