Law firm Stephenson Harwood LLP has added to its real estate capabilities with the arrival of partner Janice Yau Garton, who joins the firm in Hong Kong.

Garton has extensive experience advising on cross-border real estate transactions, specialising in real estate investments and acting for institutional investors, funds, hospitality groups, retail brands, property development companies and private equity firms, including REITs.

Garton was named as a ‘rising star’ in the 2020 edition of The Asia Pacific Legal 500 and is qualified to practice in Hong Kong, Canada and British Columbia. She joins the firm from DLA Piper, where she was Of Counsel.
