Hong Kong’s long-awaited open-ended fund (OFC) company structure is due to be launched at the end of next month. The OFC will allow fund managers to establish a Hong Kong domiciled fund in corporate form.
In a series of government gazette notices and publications, on 18 May 2018 the Securities and Futures Commission gave shape to the OFC regime. It is targeted to come into effect on 30 July 2018.
