Kirkland & Ellis is representing Ascendent Capital Partners in connection with the HK$549 million acquisition of shares and subsequent HK$790 million conditional mandatory cash general offer by Araco Investment Limited for China Automation Group Limited (HKSE: 569), a company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The transaction was announced on June 24, 2016.
The Kirkland team is led by corporate partner Nicholas Norris, debt finance partner David Irvine and associates Derek Poon and Hong Cheong Wong.
