We recently released Relativity Server 2023 and are proud to share the latest capabilities here on the blog today. Keep reading for an overview of what’s new, plus a glimpse into what’s in store for the future of our on-premises platform.
Our Vision for Server 2023
We’ve channeled our energy into three key areas to transform the way you work with this year’s release: optimizing the viewer experience, sharpening the Analytics toolkit, and simplifying data transfer between workspaces. On top of Aero UI, which we delivered to Server in 2022, these functional improvements will make administrators’ and reviewers’ lives much easier. Let’s take a closer look.
Optimize the Viewer Experience
One of our main goals when building our latest release was to ensure that case teams are able to work smarter, not harder, when interacting with your documents. That’s why we’re excited to introduce several improvements to the document viewer to simplify your experience.
First, we’ve added two new mass operations to help you act on batches of similar documents directly in the viewer. You can now mass edit your coding decisions across a series of documents and edit the columns in the find similar documents pane.
We’ve also improved the accuracy of our OCR engine to make it easier to detect non-Latin language documents.
These capabilities, alongside other enhancements, collectively benefit reviewers by providing you with powerful tools to efficiently manage document sets, resulting in increased efficiency and accuracy in the review process.
Sharpen the Analytics Toolkit
With the improvements we’ve made to Analytics in this release, we’ve elevated your toolkit to help you understand your data on a deeper level—and turn that data into actionable insights. With more accurate inclusiveness designation in email threading, you’ll see significantly less false inclusive documents. With this change, we’ve seen improvements up to 40 percent in detecting over-inclusive documents, which significantly improved the search.
Additionally, we’re excited to introduce choice mapping in active learning to allow you to code on a single-choice field, even when there are more than two choices. This helps make it easier to implement active learning on any document set and, most importantly, get the results you need quickly.
Easily Move Data Between Workspaces
Litigation support teams need to make sure they can seamlessly transfer document and non-document object metadata between workspaces. Integration Points Sync now allows transfers of non-document object data to other workspaces using the same workflow as with document objects.
Additionally, we’ve made improvements to the field mapping UI to help you quickly and easily narrow down your selections when dealing with numerous sources and destination columns.
What’s in Store for the Future?
This year and moving forward, we remain committed to simplifying Server’s maintenance and updates, keeping it compatible with current technologies and frameworks, and delivering new capabilities and enhancements that empower you to work faster and smarter while you’re in Relativity.
Rest assured; Server is not going anywhere anytime soon. In fact, we’re just about ready to start planning for Server 2024, so keep your eyes peeled for more information in the coming months.
