Skadden advised Bank of America, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley as the underwriters of Tencent Music Entertainment Group's US $1.1 billion initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange.
Trading commenced on 12 December 2018. This is one of the largest US IPOs by a Chinese firm this year.
The team was led by partners Julie Gao (Hong Kong), Will Cai (Hong Kong) and David Goldschmidt (New York), with Counsel Kenneth Chase (Hong Kong), and associates Yilin Xu (Hong Kong) and Guang Yang (New York).
