On September 4, 2018, the MOL amended the “General Principles of Administrative Fines for Violation of the Labor Standard Act,”, providing that the listed companies shall be fined no less than NT$50,000 but no more than 1 million for violation of Article 32 of the LSA concerning ther overtime working hours, Article 34 of the LSA concerning the rest hours for shift workers, or Article 36 of the LSA concerning the one fixed day off and one flexible rest day, and that such fines could be increased by one half.
