ZICOlaw has announced the promotion of senior partner Ms. Hanim Hamzah to Regional Managing Partner of ZICOlaw network, effective, 1 January 2016.
Ms Hanim has 18 years of regional practice experience in Malaysia, Japan and Indonesia, specialising in major infrastructure, project financing and M&A. Since 2005, she has been Resident Partner and Senior Foreign Counsel in Indonesia at Roosdiono & Partners, member law firm of ZICOlaw.
Working closely with Mr. Chew Seng Kok, Chairman, ZICOlaw, Ms Hanim will now also be responsible for continuing the strategic development and management of the network, which has its regional hub in Singapore, and member law firms and related service providers in fifteen ASEAN cities, including Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru, Kota Bharu, Kuching, Kota Kinabalu, Labuan, Jakarta, Bangkok, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Phnom Penh, Vientiane and Yangon.
Mr Chew Seng Kok said: “This appointment is an essential part of the strategy to continue the success of the ZICOlaw network by further extending and improving support offered to our clients in ASEAN. Hanim is very well respected by her clients and no stranger to the network and its members. I am confident that her extensive background and leadership will provide innovative management to the team.”
