On April 08, 2024, DivinaLaw Foundation headed by its Chairman and President, Atty. Nilo T. Divina, signed a memorandum of agreement with the University of Santo Tomas Research and Endowment Foundation, Inc. This collaboration offers scholarships to those who aspire to further their legal education through Master of laws program, in the UST Graduate School of Law.
In his message of support, Atty. Divina recounts his three-point agenda when he assumed the Deanship of the UST Faculty of Civil Law in 2009: to recruit the best students not just from UST but in the whole country, to have the best roster of law professors and to improve the Faculty’s facilities. Investing in the education of the Faculty’s law professors is in line with these agenda. “ The quality of an educational institution is significantly reflected through the caliber of its faculty. By investing in the academic development of our professors, we are ensuring that the UST Faculty of Civil Law not only maintains its esteemed position but also climbs higher in the echelons of global legal education “ , he added.
Atty. Divina was joined by Very Rev. Fr. Richard G. Ang, O.P., UST Rector, and Dean Atty. Jacqueline Lopez-Kaw, UST Graduate School Dean. The program was also witnessed by several DivinaLaw Senior Partners and representatives of the UST administration.
