Nikunj Maheshwari
With close to 10 years of experience, Nikunj is a part of the firm’s Financing – Banking team based out of our Mumbai office. Nikunj graduated from Symbiosis Law School, Pune in 2008.Nikunj has experience in varied spectrum of financing, including banking, structured finance, debt restructuring and stressed asset resolutions.

Abhijeet Das
With over 9 years of experience, Abhijeet is a part of the firm’s Financing – Bankruptcy team based out of our Mumbai office, having joined us in 2014. Abhijeet graduated from Symbiosis Law School, Pune in 2009.
Abhijeet specialises in corporate insolvency and regularly advises various stakeholders in insolvency proceedings. He also has significant experience in advising banks and other financial institutions on financing transactions, with a focus on distressed asset resolution.

Anuj Pethia
With over 9 years of experience, Anuj is a part of the firm’s Capital Markets team based out of our Delhi office. Anuj graduated from National Law Institute University, Bhopal in 2008.
Post which he obtained his LLM degree from Columbia University School of Law, New York in 2013 and re-joined Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas in 2013.
Anuj has a vast experience in advising issuers and investment banks on various capital markets transactions including initial and follow-on public offerings, qualified institutions placement, rights issues, institutional placement programs and foreign issuances of securities including depository receipts, MTNs and bonds.
Shatarupa Dasgupta
With close to 10 years of experience, Shatarupa is a part of the firm’s Capital Markets team based out of our Delhi office, having also been a part of the erstwhile AMSS at its Delhi office.
Shatarupa graduated from West Bengal National University of Juridical Science, Kolkata in 2008. Shatarupa joined Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas in 2016 and was based out of Mumbai office before moving to Delhi.
Shatarupa advises issuers and underwriters on various equity capital market transactions, which include initial public offerings, follow-on offerings, rights issues, qualified institutions placements and offshore bond issuances.
She is also involved in advising trusts and sponsors in setting-up, structuring and listing of infrastructure investment trusts.

Aditi Manchanda
With close to 9 years of experience, Aditi is a part of the firm’s General Corporate team based out of our Mumbai office. Aditi graduated from Symbiosis Law School, Pune in 2007 and has also obtained a LLM Degree from University of Warwick, United Kingdom in 2008.
As part of the general corporate practice group, her work involves general corporate advisory and transactional matters, which mostly include PE and M&A transactions. She has represented some large corporate houses, promoters, private equity funds, banks, and financial institutions in cross border M&As and private equity investments.
Kota Chandan
With over 9 years of experience, Kota is a part of the firm’s General Corporate team based out of our Bangalore office. Kota graduated from National Law School of India University, Bangalore in 2009.
Chandan represents both private equity firms and corporations in a wide range of unlisted JV and control transactions. He focuses on transactions in the commercial real estate, logistics and pharma/health care sectors.
Ravi Shah
With close to 13 years of experience, Ravi is a part of the firm’s General Corporate team based out of our Ahmedabad office. Ravi graduated from University of Mumbai in 2005 and, subsequently, also re-qualified as a Solicitor, England and Wales in 2007.
As a part of General Corporate practice, Ravi focusses on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructuring, foreign investment corporate advisory and general corporate and commercial matters. He has considerable international experience gained while working in the UK both in private practice and in-house for over 10 years assisting several large multinational corporates across a range of sectors and industries.
Vishak Abraham
With close to 10 years of experience, Vishak is a part of the firm’s General Corporate team based out of our Bangalore office. Vishak graduated from National Law School of India University, Bangalore in 2008. Vishak re-joined Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas in 2014.
Vishak has been actively working in the PE and M&A team, primarily handling high value control PE transactions and unlisted M&A (with a focus on real estate, e-commerce and education sectors), and has a healthy mix of both fund and target side experience.
Danish Kazi
Danish joined us today and would be part of General Corporate practice. He over 13 years of experience Danish joined the firm’s Mumbai office. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, corporate restructuring and has also advised resolution applicants in insolvency and bankruptcy mandates. He has advised several leading private equity funds as well as leading Indian and international business houses.
He obtained his LL.B. degree from ILS Law College, Pune in 2005.

Raunak Dhillon
With over 10 years of experience, Raunak is a part of the firm’s Litigation team based out of our Delhi office having joined us in 2015. Raunak graduated from Symbiosis Law School, Pune in 2008.
Raunak has an experience in civil, criminal and commercial litigation as well as arbitration. He regularly appears before the Supreme Court, various High Courts as well as other courts and tribunals. Raunak is also an Advocate on-Record, Supreme Court of India.

Richa Mohanty Rao
With over 10 years of experience, Richa is a part of the firm’s General Corporate – Employment Law practice based out of our Delhi office. Richa graduated from Symbiosis Law School, Pune in 2008. She is also a member of the Special Taskforce on Employee Relations, CII Northern Region – Confederation of Indian Industry.
Richa assists clients in managing all legal aspects of their Human Capital, including employee transitions in M&A matters, wage settlement, individual and mass redundancies, closure of establishments and social security matters.

Garima Joshi
With almost 9 years of experience, Garima is a part of the firm’s Financial Regulatory Practice based out of our Mumbai office. Garima graduated from National Law University, Jodhpur in 2009.
Garima’s experience includes advisory, transactional work and regulatory representations. She has assisted financial intermediaries and market participants on a variety of issues, starting from entry and licensing processes; on-going compliance issues; permissible activities, products and business lines; up to surrender and exit from regulated businesses. She has also assisted on regulatory issues surrounding, and implications of, transactions involving financial institutions. On the adversarial side, Garima has advised on a number of proceedings and regulatory actions initiated by RBI and SEBI, including at the Securities Appellate Tribunal stage, internal investigations on securities market laws, and on matters between parties involving contentious regulatory issues.

With almost 9 years of experience, Pururaj is a part of the firm’s Financing team based out of our Mumbai office. Pururaj graduated from Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar in 2009.
Pururaj has extensive experience in project financing, banking and has advised banks and financial institutions such as State Bank of India, ICICI Bank Limited, Barclays Bank Plc., Citibank, Standard Chartered Bank, Power Finance Corporation Limited, Credit Suisse, Mashreq Bank on a broad range of financing transactions including cross-border financing structures, export financing structures, structured lending, corporate debt restructuring, strategic debt restructuring and recovery of loans and investments.

With almost 10 years of experience, Bharath is a part of the firm’s General Corporate team based out of our Bangalore office. Bharath graduated from National Academy of Legal Studies & Research (NALSAR), Hyderabad in 2008.
Bharath has experience in general corporate and advisory work. He advises both domestic and international clients on legal aspects of their business strategy in India. He is part of the Corporate Governance Centre and advisees listed companies on various governance matters. He further specializes in employee stock options, investigations, director appointments and remunerations, and advice on FDI in retail trading.”

Taher Mandviwala
With over 9 years of experience, Taher is a part of the firm’s Real Estate team based out of our Mumbai office. Taher graduated from University of Mumbai in 2006 and qualified as a solicitor from Bombay Incorporated Law Society in 2008. Taher has also obtained a LLM Degree from University of Mumbai in 2009.
Taher advises a wide spectrum of clients across sectors including domestic and foreign corporates and HNI’s on all matters relating to real estate (both residential and commercial) including investments, leasing, licensing, sale, acquisition, development and mortgaging of land and premises.
