ACCRALAW contributed the Philippine chapter of The Legal 500’s Comparative Guide on Public Procurement. The team, composed of Partner Melissa G. Velarde, Senior Associate Maria Angeline L. Tayag, and Associates Michael Ryan Natividad and Zyra Frances P. Aquilizan, provided an overview of the procedures on public procurement in the Philippines.
The Guide discussed, among others, what types of public procurement contracts are regulated in the Philippines, the Government Procurement Reform Act of the Philippines, tendering procedures, and the remedies available to unsuccessful bidders.
