The Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources has developed the Doctrine of achieving carbon neutrality of the Republic of Kazakhstan until 2060. The doctrine was developed on the basis of modeling the real economy using the best advanced models such as TIMES, CGE and System Dynamics.
This Carbon Neutralization framework aims to examine and assess the changes and measures needed to adapt the national economy to a climate-neutral model in the future.
