The state of Kedah in Malaysia is set to ban all 4D lottery shops in the state to make sure that Kedah becomes free from gambling. According to Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor, the ban will be enforced right away through all local councils. At this time, no new premises licences will be issued for gambling operators, and any current gambling premises may carry their operations in accordance with their licence.
