Integral to ACCRALAW’s 50th Anniversary events is the formal launching of its Corporate Social Responsibility Department (CSRD). Since the start of the year, CSRD has identified different partner non-profit organizations.
On 18 May 2022, ACCRALAW held its ceremonial signing of the memoranda of agreement it has entered into with its partner non-profit organizations namely, Teach for the Philippines, Foundation for Professional Training, Inc. and Water.org. ACCRALAW will render pro bono legal services to these partner organizations.
Also, ACCRALAW has also selected Batang Munti Foundation, Inc. as one of its beneficiaries. ACCRALAW has sponsored 10 scholars of Batang Munti Foundation, Inc. The scholarships extended by ACCRALAW to these scholars is in addition to its scholarships to deserving law students from the University of the Philippines College of Law and Ateneo De Manila School of Law.
The MOA Signing Ceremony was held at ACCRALAW’s Head Office in Taguig City. It was attended by the Firm’s management team, including Managing Partner Patricia-Ann T. Prodigalidad, CSRD Head Alex Ferdinand S. Fider, and 50th Anniversary Committee Head Jose Martin R. Tensuan and the officers of the different partner non-profit organizations.
