Zhanar Abdullayeva is a Partner at Unicase Law Firm, co-heading the Oil&Gas and Mining departments. Zhanar has more than 15 years’ experience advising foreign investors, development banks, research institutions, and leading national and international companies on a wide range of legal issues including industry-specific regulation related to the Foreign Direct Investments, Oil & Gas and Mining matters, Energy and Renewables particulars, Corporate and M&A.

 

Zhanar’s experience includes advising on major energy M&A transactions in Kazakhstan over last two years, including transaction and negotiation support, structuring cross-border deals, and advising on regulatory issues.  She supoprted in a number of cross-border transactions in subsoil sector, advised on foreign investment, financial matters and general corporate and commercial issues in Kazakhstan.

 

For many years Zhanar’s projects have been recommended by the leading international legal directories including Chamber and Partners, The Legal 500, IFLR1000 and Asialaw Profiles.

Zhanar has authored many articles and publications, and has also acted as a speaker at many conferences and forums.
