In line with its commitment to providing legal education to Filipinos with limited access to professional legal services, DivinaLaw recently visited Barangay 24 in Caloocan City to address critical issues affecting the barangay’s marginalized sectors and offer residents free legal advice.
As part of the Firm’s Dulog Legal program, Senior Partner Atty. Richie Avigale A. Ramos-Pilares gave an informative talk on the rights of senior citizens, while Partner Atty. Krisyl M. Cancino discussed the rights of persons with disabilities (PWDs). Senior citizens and PWDs made up most of the audience.
Following the presentations, residents had the opportunity for free one-on-one consultations with DivinaLaw’s lawyers, who were prepared to answer a range of legal questions, from birth certificate issues to land disputes.
