Duane Morris & Selvam LLP acted as the international legal counsel to JM Financial Limited and Edelweiss Financial Services Limited in their role as the book running lead managers and as underwriters for the recent sale of approximately Rs. 6,000 million (US$92 million) of equity shares in Fine Organic Industries Limited by the promoter group selling shareholders in an initial public offering in India and concurrent private placements outside India.
The team was led by Jamie Benson, the head of Duane Morris & Selvam LLP’s India practice and U.S. securities law practice.
Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas acted as Indian legal counsel to Fine Organic Industries Limited and Luthra & Luthra Law Offices acted as Indian legal counsel to JM Financial Limited and Edelweiss Financial Services Limited.
