SyCipLaw’s Employment and Immigration Department has prepared the first edition of BULLETS: Bulletin on Employment Trends for the first quarter of 2025.

The inaugural issue covers the following employment and immigration developments:

  1. Are fitness trainers regular employees of their fitness centers?
  2. Is an employer liable for acts of sexual harassment committed by its employee against his or her co-employee?
  3. May an employer terminate an employee due to HIV?
  4. Are quitclaims executed by employees on the belief that, by signing said quitclaims, they would be paid their money claims in full, valid?
