Skadden is independent U.S. legal counsel to the special committee of the Board of Directors of leading online game developer and operator KongZhong Corporation, which announced on 1 December that it has entered into a definitive agreement and plan of merger with Linkedsee Limited and Wiseman International Limited, pursuant to which KongZhong will be acquired by an investor consortium in an all-cash transaction with a transaction value of approximately US$299 million.
