Kirkland & Ellis is pleased to announce that Daniel Dusek has joined the Firm as a partner in the Corporate Practice Group in Hong Kong. Daniel has more than 15 years of experience advising on complex, cross-border corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, divestments, auctions, take-privates, private equity and leveraged buyouts, spin-offs and joint ventures. He brings extensive experience on large multijurisdictional transactions in a wide range of sectors, especially those involving leading global and regional private equity funds and corporations.
Daniel joins the Firm from the New York, Beijing and Hong Kong offices of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, where he was a partner. He holds a J.D. from New York University School of Law and a B.A. from Harvard University.
Asian Legal Business selected Daniel as one of the top 10 M&A lawyers in China in 2017. He has also repeatedly been named as a leading lawyer in Chambers Asia and Chambers Global.
